Quaint little road side stand that sells seafood(fresh and some cooked to order) and produce. My wife and I stopped by for lunch. I got fried oysters and fries. The oysters were amazingand super fresh! (they have to be approved to order because they are shucked fresh, battered and fried right then.)And the boardwalk style fries were tasty as well. My wife said the scallops and hush puppies were really good. Look them up and check them out.
Love this place - primarily a fish market but they have a small menu and they're happy to prepare something for you. It was all very tasty. To me this is what coming to Chincoteague is all about. The opposite of fancy, just good, down home seafood as fresh as it can possibly be.
Ricky’s Seafood is the one of the best! You definitely cannot go wrong with their selection of seafood and sides. We had the peel and eat shrimp, crab cakes, hush puppies and fries. The hush puppies were perfection! The shrimp were so delicious! They also have a cute storefront with a little gift shop, produce and tshirts. Don’t miss this place on your visit to Chincoteague! The staff are pretty amazing too!
