Amazing little market! The owners couldn’t have been nicer—highly recommended. No credit cards, open just a few days a week (in September, at least). Worth a visit if you’re in town!
We always buy seafood here and it never disappoints. My mom used to send me there to buy her their frozen crab cakes to bring home. Very friendly and worth the visit.
Excellent seafood and very helpful and knowledgeable staff. We get fresh steamed crabs, and lusciously plump sea scallops, and clams and oysters.

Best freshest shrimp in town. Often pick up other fish & shellfish while there. Highly recommend! We stop by weekly and are always pleased.

We stopped by there to pick up some seafood to take home. Wanted some crabs but they were out. We got some oysters, shrimp and scallops. Would highly recommend SeaBest seafood to anyone who loves fresh seafood.
Great crabs on the island! Call early when in season to preorder your crabs for the day. We called when they open at 11 to get crabs for dinner.They’ll steam crabs and shrimp. Seasoning isn’t heavy which the kids like. Crabs could have been cleaned a bit better, but can’t beat the price or service.It’s just a market; there’s no seating. We took back to our Airbnb to eat.Warning: they don’t take credit cards.
I have bought seafood from Seabest on Chincoteague for 20 years and always get fresh stuff. Always! ... Family owned business that stands by their products.
