Steve’s subs are a must on the island. Don’t let the older gas station feel fool you…. His subs are worth trying. And you’ll be back! They are made to order so be prepared to wait 10-15 minutes or longer if there are people ahead of you. It’s always a stop for us when we visit the island several times a year.
The boba tea is so good here; they know my daughter and wife automatically since they are always coming by to order it. It is well worth the wait so be patient while it gets mixed by a professional :-) The food is beyond great as well. It's a very comfortable place to grab some souvenirs, snacks, supplies, and quality food. Everyone who works here makes you feel well attended and satisfied with the service. Don't just take my word for it----stop by Steve's II sometime...
We waited 25 minutes for boba tea after ordering. I'm sure they were understaffed, but it was bad. There were two men making sandwiches and one guy that took orders at the register and where you order tea. He would go back and forth between the two and answer personal phone calls. The cups with the boba just sat there most of the time as he did other things. All of the employees were unsanitary, touching personal drinks' straws and phone screens between working on ordered...
