We stumbled across Dude's Drive In while out and about visiting antique stores in the area. What a nice place to eat!!! We didn't have to get out of our car because the server came to us.... Took our order, then brought our food to us. We cashed out right from our parking place in the lot. The hamburger was fresh. The service and atmosphere were incredible. As out-of-towners, we felt like we had been coming there all our lives. My hotdog was concerningly red but I bit into it anyway, only to discover that it looked as though it had been artificially colored. It never occurred to me to ask if their meat was artificially colored or flavored before ordering, but I ended up throwing the hotdog away and finding another spot for lunch.
Love this place! We found this place by Google search on our way home from a Dr appointment. What a hidden gem! We used to have a drive-in like this in our home town that closed down, so this place brought back fond memories. The burgers are so good and so are the fries and onion rings. They also will put cherry flavoring in your drink. My mom and I got it in our lemonade and it was delicious! Waitresses (car hops) were very friendly and service was fast.
