Come to Johnson City, TN. Smokey bones just closed down and it’s a perfect location for mission. I’m from Maryland and ate at the original location in Glen Bernie for years before moving. I’ve tried getting in touch with the owners to convince them to come to Johnson City, TN with no response. You guys would kill it here I’m just saying

My new favorite BBQ restaurant hands down. The food, specifically my Brisket Sandwich, was amazing. Very juicy with an amazing taste and many sauce options. Additionally, the lemonade was by far the best i’d ever had. Furthermore, the service was great. I had a very nice and interesting conversation with the manager, who was very kind and funny. Plus, I got my food 2 minutes after ordering. Overall, this is my new, go-to BBQ spot. Would 1000% recommend to any person looking...

Great barbecue. Don't overlook the mustard sauce at the drink station.

I always enjoy the barbecue, but I tried a smoked hamburger the last time I visited. I'll go back for the barbecue but I'll skip the burger next time. The bun was cold and the patty was ball shaped like the cook forgot to flatten it out. This made it thick and hard to eat.
