This place is a gem! The people that work here are very friendly and welcoming. The coffee and pastries are excellent and well priced. It is a very cute place and very clean. I would highly recommend it and will definitely be back!
Stopped by on a whim while passing through on a road trip, and I'm glad we did! I don't even usually leave reviews, but I liked the place so much that I felt like I should. The place had a nice cozy atmosphere, perfect for quietly relaxing. Alternatively if you're not a fan of quiet, the owners were lovely people who were very pleasant to chat with. My wife, daughter and I needed a "hang out" for a half a day and were pleasantly surprised by Churchville in general and Mountain Mystic Cafe in particular. Delicious coffees, teas, and cookies and engaging conversation. Looking forward to another visit on our next trip from Richmond to the mountains!
