We came during Fridays at the Forge and had a blast. Service was great, and the food was delicious. We got fish and chips, the Reuben, and a BLT on sourdough. Everything was fresh with generous portions. The server suggested the Clifton Forge Water, and I highly recommend if you're looking for a light and fresh cocktail on a hot day. Thank you for a great Friday night.
We stopped while traveling thru because we could take our dogs on the patio. We got 2 kids' chicken tenders that they loved, 2 angus burgers which were great, and a steak wrap which was delicious, just needed some seasoning on the steak in the wrap. Fries, onion rings, and chips were good. Staff provided good hospitality and were very friendly. If we ever go this way, we will definitely stop and eat again.
We always enjoy eating at the tavern but my family and I went tonight and my 1 year old daughter was enjoying her night. The owners (I think) were loving her sweetness and gave her some free ice cream! It was a sweet night and I truly appreciated that kind gesture and the atmosphere was very pleasant pure usual 😊
