Boil Bay Cajun Seafood and Bar

The boil bag dinners were awesome but the fried food was meh. Very loud and obnoxious music from a karaoke DJ made it nearly impossible to talk or hear.

The food was great and arrived quickly. Our group tried a seafood boil bag, fried rice, a chicken strip basket, a shrimp basket, a fish basket, and corn nuggets, and everything was delicious. The service was excellent, and the staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We had no complaints at all—overall, it was a great dining experience, and we will definitely be back!

Boil Bay was definitely worth the visit! The seafood was fresh, flavorful, and seasoned really well. The boil sauce had a lot of flavor and everything came out hot and fresh. The atmosphere was fun and laid-back, making it a great spot to hang out with friends or family. The portions were good for the price, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout the visit. Overall, a really good seafood spot and I’d definitely come back again.

We decided to go to boil bay in colonial heights around 8pm being they closed at nine thirty/10 to celebrate my friends birthday. We ordered and the waitress said as long as we ordered by nine we were fine due to them closing early stating they weren’t busy. We understood. It took us forever to receive our food, which was close to about 9 o’clock. We received it to then be asked by 9:15 if we could leave so they could close per their manager. I wasn’t even close to finishing my meal and our meals together were over about $400. I felt like it was disrespectful and rude. We understood that you wanted to close early but how they went about it just didn’t seem to make sense. It was very disappointing.

We went last minute on a Saturday night for dinner on my birthday. We were afraid that it would be too busy, and i was nervous because I just rarely find food I can actually eat anymore but I was hungry and Im so glad we did. The music was loud, which I dont mind. The vibe was casual and fun. Best part was the food which was perfect! My only complaint is I would prefer real butter for dipping

We had a great time. We are definitely coming back. The food is delicious and everyone working there was very friendly. The atmosphere is very comfortable. I wish I could give them more than just 5 stars.
