Boil Bay Cajun Seafood and Bar

With it being only 2 servers on a SATURDAY, Destiny was amazing and very attentive to my group and I!! She recommended us quite a few options from the menu. Our food came out in a timely manner, and it was a decent portion. The lighting was low and we used our phone flashlights to see menu. But, overall the place is nice on the inside. If I'm ever back in VA again, I would definitely stop by. I recommend trying this place out.

My wife and I arrived b4 the rest of our party. As soon as we sat down a dj started playing line dancing type songs. We have nothing against this except for it was VERY loud. Also the adult on the dance floor had a whistle she was using. A high pitch whistle in a restaurant ! We payed for our drinks, apologized and left.

The food was sooooo good. Get their house seasoning and fire heat if you like spicy you won’t regret it. It was not cheap though. Worth it!

Kiley was EXCEPTIONAL with her awesomeness! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and ALL THE STAFF! We came for blue crabs and it totally hit the spot! 💙

The catfish was pretty good. It's way too dark in there ....

Everything is good it’s just so dark you need a flashlight to read the menu. Try automatically include gratuity to your check.

For the last year the seasoning has been hit or miss...mostly miss! I used to eat it all the time then they changed the seasoning in the bags. I have gotten pick up a bout 5 times and 4 of those times my potatoes were bad or my shrimp over cooked. One time blue crabs were bad and straight stinky, another time hardly any sauce in the bag, and it always looks like they are shorting me on my food. I advise against takeout of delivery with this place. Dine in I had to send my food back a couple of times. Even the server was on my side with times and upset at the situation. And the manager, who says she the girlfriend of the owner.......she is out of line and needs to work on how she represents someone else's business. Over all this place has so much potential to be great just needs better management and management over the food.

The place was almost empty on a Tuesday night. They could fill this place if they had some early bird drinks or food sales. I guess the owner likes it empty- and kinda dirty feeling.

Ordered the one pound shrimp (head-on), Cajun fries and hush puppies. The portion size of the fries was a lot higher than I expected and the shrimp size were bigger than most places that I’ve been to.

Waitress was very attentive, parking plenty.

Recommend for anyone who’s craving some Cajun seafood for a good value!

It’s very delicious and not salty like volcanoes crab but there portions are very small when you order the crab legs.
