First time going, it was GREAT! Looks like a hole in the wall place from the outside but inside!! The place is clean, friendly, food is great! Got to get the hush puppies that look like onion rings, they are amazing and their prices are great too!! We WILL be going back!!

Downside of this restaurant is you pay up front and not at the table. One cashier made the process very slow. Also, they charge a fee if you pay with a debit or credit card.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the tri city area. The staff is always courteous food is always hot, and the drinks are always strong. More importantly, fried fish, shrimp, hushpuppies, potatoes and slaw....always delicious. I gave it a 4 star overall rating due to the wait and confusion when seating. This process could definitely be handled better. The restaurant doesn't have much ambiance but the food and service are consistently great.
Captain Tom's was celebrating it's 30 year in business (free pens!). I got a fried seafood platter. You can get it fried or broiled. It had scallops, flounder, oysters, a deviled crab, and popcorn shrimp. The scallops and oysters were fried a little too much. The deviled crab was stuffing in a crab shell. It was a fair amount of food for the price compared to other places. The server was attentive. Next time I will try the broiled platter. They have foods other than seafood.

Good food, nice atmosphere, and our waiter (Justin?) was AMAZING! Very attentive, great sense of humor, and very patient and helpful to 3 "rowdy seniors" who had no idea what we wanted to order! When we go back, we're definitely requesting to sit at one of his tables. (Run, Justin, run!)

I ordered a coffee and a side of fries. My coffee was served in a styrofoam cup with a metal spoon protruding out the plastic lid of the cup like a straw. The side of fries was the most meagre serving of fries I've ever witnessed plated. My total was more than ten dollars.If you have a party of eight or more people, 20% gratituity is included on your total. If gratituity is included by default, you can expect the slowest service, no refills on any drinks or water, and to generally never see your server.Regardless of your party size or total, you can expect to pay an additional flat $2.75 fee if you pay with a card. I paid in cash.
