I visited on Monday, Dec 1 for the first time in this location. I usually enjoy Panera Bread and have visited numerous times in the prior Colonial Heights location. I was somewhat disappointed due to the lack of cleanliness in the restaurant. Crumbs and trash on the floor and tabletops and there weren’t many customers during this time (around 2 or 3pm). Napkin holders were empty. Bathrooms had pieces of paper and trash around and didn’t appear too clean. Some drink machines...
Used to work here but still came in on my off days when I could to get a good ol’ Tomato soup with my little baguette to dip in it. Also, I absolutely recommend our summertime item called the Strawberry poppyseed salad. I was hesitant at first cause I’m a picky eater, but I’ve come to absolutely love it. Just without the nuts due to personal preference. The frozen strawberry lemonade is super tasty as well. Wish I had one in Honolulu. I miss my souls and salad.
Great service and the food is always hot and ready. I came in for a to go order but stayed to enjoy the tomato soup with a side of baguette and the light roast coffee. Plenty of open tables and no wait time.
