Went to the colonial hieghts tropical smoothie. We waited 45+ mins for our order. We ordered a jerk chicken wrap with sauce on the side and they out sauce on the wrap. Never going back!!!!

I ordered for delivery, my washer called because they only had one item for him to pick up, once he confirmed with me he went back to pick up the villa. My food was wrong, I ordered the Sante fe dilla and what I received wasn't even the cheese one, so much was missing, including the sauce that comes with it. I tried to call them but phone kept going to voicemail.

Some of the staff do not need to be working with the public. The wrap was absolutely horrible! If I hadn't already gotten back on the interstate, I would have taken it back! Thank God for the bag of potato chips and the decent Smoothie! It tied me over until I could get to Emporia. VA. I will never eat at the Tropical Smoothie in Colonial Heights again! I would rate it a zero if I could.

Ordered online and it wasn’t ready when I got there. I had to wait several more minutes. Got my food and then I had to get their attention just for them to ask “you still didn’t get your smoothie?” Like come on now… I work close so I was hoping this place would be a good consistent option for me, but I guess not.

So unprofessional was trying to order food and the worker told the cashier “tell them they can’t order food” then while he adjusted his beats with his hands while making food. Just gross never had a good experience with the customer service ever here. Not even trying the be a Karen but there comes a point where some type of dress code or customer service standard has to be met.

No pineapples at opening, and after received drink they forgot to bring me my burrito so had to wait again.

I haven't been to a tropical smoothie in a while and we don't live near this one so it was the first time here. But these are the grossest smoothies ever. They are super chalky and not blended well. I've never gotten. A smoothie that was so gritty. And I order the exact same drink every time. No other TS makes drinks like this. We got 3 smoothies and they were all blended the same way. And mine had a peanut skin in it but mine wasn't suppose to have peanuts. I'm not allergic, hut I wonder about cross contamination.

I went in this morning to get a smoothie before I had to go to work. When I walked in there was nobody there to take my order. I had to stand about 5 minutes waiting on someone to come to the front. When they finally did, they acted like they had something better to do than to take my order, while having an attitude . While I was waiting on my smoothie a woman came in to place her order and kept saying Hello to try and get someone to come take her order. I was not at all impressed. When being a cashier u can change a person's day with how u respond when they walk in and u can make that time and experience for them. Not have them feel like a burden.

Only one other customer when I arrived, and it took at least 10-15 minutes to get a smoothie. One guy was taking his dear old time walking as slow as he could while a woman in the back was rushing to make as many smoothies as she could for people who used the app or called in orders. Smoothie was delicious as usual but not worth waiting for. As for whoever manages this Tropical Smoothie, they need to hire people to move heavy appliances and not rely on their employees who were hired to serve food. I heard the story, and it was ridiculous. I probably will never return to this location again.

Awful awful! Will not come here again! Firstly, the place smelled like throw up or old mop water. Secondly, someone smelled like weed. Thirdly, my order was incomplete. My acia bowl was missing ingredients. When made mention of they notified me things were missing, cool. Then I had damn near beg for them add extra of other things to compensate bc they clearly couldn't reduce the price of it. I'll keep my money in chester

I used to get smoothie bowls all of last year (2024). Granted, I hadn’t been in probably 6 months (and I also never got a bowl from the colonial heights location), but I’m just flabbergasted about the changes in their bowls. I used to regularly get the green bowl that they had and the açaí one. I never had a problem with eating them. They literally used to be the consistency of a smoothie. That’s why they’re called smoothie bowls. Today I got the bahama mama bowl and the entire thing was a block of ice (except the toppings).

So I went back inside to ask why it was frozen. I thought they were made fresh (again, I used to get them all the time). The manager informed me that they are not made fresh and that I needed to let it sit for a while. Who has time to let it sit for a while? I’m on break. 😩 Of course that’s not mentioned on the menu. So I asked to get whatever bowl isn’t frozen. I selected the Greek yogurt bowl, received it and left back out. Then I realized the yogurt bowl is a few dollars less than the bahama mama so I went back inside to inquire about the difference. The manager simply gave me a full refund. I didn’t ask for a full refund, I just wanted the difference. But I’m glad she refunded me because if you look at the photos, the blueberries are fresh, but the strawberries clearly aren’t. They’re frozen, thawed, and on the verge of spoiling. I didn’t get to take a picture of the bowl that I originally ordered, but the strawberries were the same.

I’m satisfied with how the manager handled it, but I won’t be returning to TSC. Definitely will not be back.
