Stopped in this morning after staying the night in town and had a wonderful breakfast, friendly conversations with the locals and left there full and feeling welcomed. “Stopped in on my way to town n got a great bacon cheeseburger. The best part: it was only 9:30 am! Thought I'd have to order breakfast, but Whitey's will serve you lunch or breakfast at anytime of day. I went outside to use my phone and the lady at the counter was nice enough to bring my food out to me! Great service, good food and reasonable prices. 2 thumbs up!”

“The new location is inside the old pizza hut in Covington. They kept the exact look from PH and honestly I do love that! The staff are very welcoming and make sure you're taken care of. I do highly recommend this establishment if you're in the area

Parking: Off street parking that is good sized even for large pickup trucks. (Mine is 35ft long still fit)”

“We were so impressed with the cleanliness of this Subway location and especially with the kind, friendly staff. They knew the menu well, shared friendly opinions on what they liked, and even helped us pick the best coupons from a mailer we brought with us. Often when a Subway is located inside a gas station it can seem like a bit of an afterthought. This one was nicer than most standalone locations we've visited. Highly recommend!”

“It's been over a year and a half since we've ate here and I say it was fantastic! Was some of the foodlow and out yes, but they were re-filling it in a timely manner! I was a little bit disappointed in the crab rangoon.... the flavor wasn't what I remembered :( They were good, just not what I was expecting. glad you are open for dine in and have gloves for people to use!!! Thank you for a job well done!”

“Loved the hand cut steaks. They were cooked to perfection with the slightest char flavor. Only one other restaurant has achieved such perfection (Boots Steakhouse in NC). My steak melted in my mouth and was perfectly cooked to medium rare temperature. The baked potato, sauteed mushrooms and bread with cinnamon honey butter were also outstanding. Our server, Lisa, was pleasant and accommodating. Overall, from a very discerning gourmand, this wonderful restaurant is well worth the trip and has top notch food and service. We also loved the homemade apple pie and the drinks were excellent. Kudos to the chef. We will be back to visit the Cat and the Owl!”
