“Went by here because I was told about it from a friend who has lived in the area all of his life. He said it was a Covington tradition. When you walk in, you know exactly what you're in for. It does not give you the feel of a 5-star restaurant, It is a dive. So I grabbed a few things I was suggested. I'm a big eater and I was rather ready to enjoy some food, so I didn't hold back here. I got 3 dogs. My go to dog was Ketchup, Mustard and Chili. I got what my family calls a "Beau dog" which is sauerkraut and coleslaw and then I got one with just Mustard. I got an order of onion rings and fries. Dogs were good. Buns were well crunchy and dry. I think maybe stale is the word, however, they were 100% edible and didn't really ruin anything. I have had a lot worse. I would rather have stale bun than one that is soaking wet. Which has happened with dogs before. The onion rings were a bit overcooked, but I think that's just how they do it. All in all, it did not disappoint and if you are on the fence. Do it.“
