We have been eating at the The Fishin' Pig - Daleville since it opened, usually several times a month. Ever since our first visit, I haven't needed to look at a menu, I knew what I wanted. The "Shorty's Fish Basket" has been my thing, it consisted of 4 pieces of fish, slaw, and a side which for me is Tater Tots. The cost of $17.00 was very reasonable for what I got.

Love the restaurant. As retired seniors, my wife and I are regulars for 1/2 price catfish. Today we ran into a surprise. My favorite side has always been their red skinned potato salad. Warning; they have changed vendors and the new product isn't as good. Sorry..
Amazing service and food! Highly recommend the catfish and pulled pork with the spicy Texas sauce and Memphis sweet mixed is delicious. 🤤

The Fishin' Pig is a restaurant that has received mixed feedback from its customers. Many praise the wonderful food, excellent service, and cool atmosphere. The seafood platter was phenomenal, and the brisket sandwich with sweet potato fries was really tasty. The shrimp appetizer as a meal was loved, and the fried green tomatoes were terrific. The restaurant is very clean and pretty, and the owner can be seen walking around checking on folks. The waitress was fantastic and attentive, assisting with ordering. However, some issues were noted. The cole slaw could be a little creamier, and the Carolina sauce was just a tad too acidic. A regular customer noticed the "Shorty's Fish Basket" was no longer called that, but just "Fish Basket", with the price gone up to $21.00 from $17.00 and only 3 pieces of fish instead of 4. Another regular was surprised that the red skinned potato salad has changed vendors and the new product isn't as good. Despite these concerns, many customers will definitely be back.
