“Stopped in while taking a ride on the Virginia creeper trail Great ice cream and BBQ! And fast service despite being busy! menu isn’t huge but it has something for everyone. Especially loved the local ice cream options. Clean bathrooms lots of outdoor seating both sunny and shaded. Perfect place, we Loved it!”

“As many have done, we stopped here to pick up sandwiches to take in our backpacks while taking a bike ride along the VA Creeper trail. Thankfully, they were open early, and service was decently quick since we were running a bit late for our shuttle appointment. Sandwiches were good as usual for Subway, and made a nice picnic along the trail as we rode down. Would stop here again on our next visit.”

“My husbands grandfather, Howard Pickel used to own the surrounding 500 acres all around the Old Alvaeredo Station and he donated the land for the church to be built. Their primary home was the Abingdon Donkey bed and breakfast on the corner. It's nice to always come back to visit and reminisce about his childhood, helping on the farm and fishing the creeks and rivers. I just love this place and you will too, worth putting on your bucket list.”

“The bean dip was the proverbial white cheese that abounds in the Southeastern United States with a little bit of watery refried pinto beans mixed in. The 22 oz mug of Budweiser, though cold came from a tap that obviously has not been cleaned in far too long, lending it a slightly off taste but redeeming itself by its reasonable price and copious volume ($5.50/22oz).
The house salsa appears to be homemade, for a slightly doctored bottled sauce, sliced onions being added to a thin red salsa that wasn't bad. thin fresh chips.
The taco salad was a little bit on the small side, but the chicken in it was quite good, being stewed in the style that you might find in a tamale. A token slice of tomato and iceberg lettuce with cheese and sour cream

tldr: do come to El burrito loco, but get your beer in a bottle, and skip the bean dip”

“I found this place on a whim and I’m very grateful I did. I had their baked spaghetti. It was really good and the restaurant gives you that old school Italian portion! if you know you know.”

“Excellent quality and selection for a College dining facility. They really do offer something for every preference. Staff is very friendly. On nice weather days, outdoor seating is available. It's across the drive from the newly restored duck pond on the E&H campus.”

“Delicious family owned pizza, nostalgic feel and very friendly staff. The lady who cooked mine was very sweet. I got a Hoagie and was done like the ones you used to get back in the 80’s🙏🏻 I been looking for years for an American steak hoagie like pizza places used to make, before all the chain restaurants!😊❤️really awesome just what I wanted! Cinnamon stick were so delicious, made to order! I recommend that Truckers come here for dinner, they also have Buffet hours, and I didn’t get a salad but the salad bar looked good a fresh.”

“I love me some Wendy's. Out of all fast food restaurants, locally, it's definitely top 3 for me, I can't remember ever eating at any of them and being disappointed; especially when it comes to chili, potato with chili, pineapple lemonade and they're #1 on French fries in my book!!!!”

Parking: They was a lot people eating there today so I had park back some.but it was well worth it.food amazing n service from that lady was best how she relaxed me with her smile.”

“Man, y'all were busy!!! But every worker was pushing!! Good job! As for you "steak" egg and cheese bagel.... It's not steak, it's a hamburger... Really, call it what it is. But that's not to this location but corporate. Hot, fresh, accurate...as busy as this location was, they got it right!”
