A Slice Above by King Cropp

An especially quaint little space, formally a house? Friendly staff, all of them! Shrimp special was top notch. A modest but effective choice of craft brews, after our full day at the infamous Bright Leaf Beer Festival. Well done.

Let me start by saying: I love this cauliflower crust pizza. Super crunchy, which is not always the case. I cannot give 5 stars for two reasons: #1-no accommodations for handicap patrons. You have to walk up two sets of steep stairs (about 30). We were anxiously awaiting the reopening of King Cropp at their new location. It was definitely worth the wait! The food is just as excellent as it was at their first location, and the space is larger with more variety for tables/seating arrangements. They have a great patio area that will be so wonderful during the warmer months. If you are a vegetarian (or like me just prefer to eat a lot of vegetables), this is definitely the place to go!
