Stop in for lunch on drive from Charlotte to Charlottesville. Interesting concept: a brewery that doesn't brew any beer! House brews made in Oklahoma City & imported (as fresh as the truck can get them here, I guess). Ordered a Sam O'fest (was as expected). Decaf for wife was "excellent," she said. Ordered burger sliders & chicken quesadillas. Both good. Country tunes in the muzak to mix with "classic" Creedence, sort of redneck rock. Waitstaff & hostess VERY cheerful & smiley. Better than grumpy but a little over the top.

Best kept secret in Danville!! The brews were solid and the food was tasty! The cool part was that they were kind of busy but the service was outstanding!!

On our way thru, another Yelp totally random find. On the menu is Big Mike's Meatloaf. How could we NOT stop? Starting with two of their excellent hazy IPA's, I order the meatloaf. Big Mike can do it correct. The meat was super fresh and tender. I am not sure if they bake it first, then grill the bacon wrapping - but it works. Hey, anything with bacon is gold. The bacon grease seeps into the meatloaf, yum. Great flavor - but wait, Big Mike takes it to another level - adding a sweet tangy chili glaze that gets caramelized in the bacon grease. Sides - onion strings were perfectly breaded and fried. Carb’ing out - I went with the mashed potatoes and mac n cheese. Do yourself a favor, get some brown gravy to add on the mashed potatoes yum. I dip-dipped, cutting a piece of meatloaf, forking some onion strings, scooping mashed potato and then drown in gravy for the finish! A+++++++. The mac n cheese was average. Not bad or good, just a little to dry and not cheesy creamy for my taste. My wife built a pizza. Hawaiian pizza with ranch on the side for the win. She loved it. Service at the bar was excellent, our gal was attentive with a great personality. The manager stopped by and asked how we like it..... I am not sure they get a lot of outsiders, seemed like everyone was local (good crowd on a Sunday night). Overall, I would go back in a heartbeat.

Took over a hour for my wife to get her hamburger Friday night. We had 7 in our party and 6 of us got our food and they forgot about my wife's. When I asked about it supposedly the kitchen had lost tickets and was working on it. After asking about 40 minutes later it came out. Hope service gets

Ordered a sweet tea and bud light draft, took about 10 minutes to get both. Ordered meal sirloin with chicken tenders, baked potato, green beans, and the meatloaf with mashed potatoes, and green beans at the same time, took over 45 minutes to get meal. When we got or food everything on the meatloaf plate was cold, the baked potato was burnt on the outside, green beans were cold and spongy, tenders where good but had to ask for ranch, and the 6 ounce sirloin was nothing but gristle. Service was slow didn’t see server but a couple times. Another thing was at this time both me and my husband had a handicap. Me with a broken wrist and elbow and my husband with a brace on his leg wearing handicap shoes on both feet, they seated us in a booth that we had to setup to get in.

Tried an appetizer, meal and dessert. I got the nachos for my appetizer and they were good. It had a combination of drizzled cheese and melted shredded cheese holding it all together. My only complaint if I was being picky, the bottom half of the nachos lacked the scrumptious toppings the filled the top. My meal was a bacon cheeseburger which I ordered without onions or tomato's. Yes, the picture shows they forgot to remove the onions. Of the two I'd rather that than have tomato juice on my burger. I can forgive. The dessert was a apple crumble. It was awesome and came piping hot. So hot it minimized my ice cream, but I had plenty. The place was busy and the bar tender seemed very overwhelmed without any help for hours. If you give the place a try, bring some patience, but you'll find the food is worth the wait.

I'm posting this 'review' for the benefit of the bartender who served us. I ordered a Hazy IPA and my wife a draft Pilsner. Hers was poured expertly as you would expect in a craft brewery. Mine had not yet arrived and after a few minutes when the bartender stepped back from the tap, I could clearly see why not.One glass under the tap was overflowing and half full of foam. A second glass next to it was about 1/3 full of beer. The bartender closed the tap and poured from the foamy glass into the beer glass. Then she replaced the empty foamy glass, opened the tap and the process began again. By now we were five minutes into this adventure. When beer is poured from one glass to another it loses some carbonation. I asked the bartender to please forget it and pour me a different available IPA. I remarked that it appeared the Hazy keg may be close to empty or something. She said 'no it's been like that since I started working here'! What??? I asked how long has that been, and she replied 'six months'!!! OMG, I could not believe what I just heard! How in the world could the management allow a condition like that to persist a week let alone six months??? Maybe this review will wake up someone in 'management'???

Didn’t get seated! Went in at 6:30pm on a Friday with my 2 sons. Parking lot was light. We got a spot right at the door. Host told us that they had a 40min wait because they had two parties and no menus to give. There was seating available all over the restaurant! Even the outside! But we were not seated and told to come back in 40mins. I honestly felt discriminated against. Especially seeing others go in while I write this review and never come back out.

This place is right beside the movie theater in Danville so it's convenient to eat here and see a movie after. This night my wife and I went with another couple for dinner before seeing The Sound of Freedom at the theater. We got there at about 5:30 and there was plenty of seating. A surprisingly good amount, in fact. Maybe because it was a Thursday? I ordered the club sandwich. I'll give it a 4 out of 5. It was good, full of flavor, and there was nothing to complain about. It just did not have as much "content" as I wish between the pieces of bread. It comes with one side and I chose broccoli which gets a 5 out of 5. My wife had the seafood platter, which is the same as the fish and chips but with some shrimp added. The fish was really crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Very tasty. I give it a 5 out of 5. Her French fries, on the other hand, were soggy. They get a 2 out of 5.Our waiter was on the ball. We never needed to look for him, our drinks were always full, and our meals came promptly. All in all, I give it an A because the fries were really that bad.

Bricktown Brewery's located next to Danville Cinemas which is very convenient since it was dinner and movie night for my husband and I and a couple of our dear friends. The interior is a mix of industrial and nostalgic accents. Very cool vibes. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the hostess and were sat immediately. It was very cold inside the restaurant . Our waiter told us that he'll ask the manager to make it warmer. It was perfect temperature after doing so. We didn't have to wait very long for our food to arrive, considering there were 4 of us. We got there at around 5:30ish. I ordered the seafood platter which is fried shrimp and cod.I like the flavor and crispness of the batter. Our waiter asked if he can bring us any other condiments. My friend and I both like and asked for malt vinegar with our fish and was happy that they have it available. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. I'm disappointed with my fries, though. They were soggy. I would have told our waiter, but crunch for time since we're going to the movies afterwards. I just didn't eat them.Upon leaving, one of the staff, opened the door for us, which is a nice gesture. I gave it 4 stars only because of my soggy fries. We'll definitely go back though.

Bricktown Brewery was an absolute gem! I can't say enough good things about the incredible bartender, Shannon, and Kerry, who made our visit even more enjoyable. Their friendly and attentive service added a personal touch to the experience. As a brewery, the house beers were the highlight, and I was thoroughly impressed with the variety and quality they offered. Each beer had its unique flavor profile, showcasing the brewers' expertise and passion for their craft. One of the highlights of our visit was their fantastic happy hour between 3:00 and 6:00 p.m. The house beers and appetizers during this time had irresistible prices, making it even more enticing to indulge. Speaking of appetizers, they were not only reasonably priced but also absolutely delicious. The portion sizes were generous, and some of their appetizers can easily feed two people.Whether you're a beer enthusiast or simply looking for a great time with delicious food, I highly recommend checking out Bricktown Brewery. With their welcoming atmosphere, fantastic happy hour deals, and the warm hospitality of Shannon and Kerry, you're sure to have a memorable and delightful experience. Cheers to an enjoyable brewery visit!

We came in for lunch on a Sunday, and it was absolutely fantastic. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the restaurant was relatively quiet and very clean. We had the bleu cheeseburger, caesar salad with chicken, and the shrimp po boy. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. The home made chips were everyone’s favorite side. Our server was Caroline, and she was very attentive and friendly. We’ll definitely be back.
