This establishment has become a favorite of ours. The menue is extensive. They offer daily specials, everyday specials and regular menu options. If you are looking for authentic down-home-style cooking, you really need to visit them. The meals they serve are delicious and the staff are always friendly and courteous. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. If you are in the Danville Virginia area, I highly recommend them. You won't be disappointed.

They do have some space constraints, so I'm not sure how accommodating they could be for a group bigger than 4. Taller people coming by themselves may also find seating slightly uncomfortable.

Dinner for 4 was under $70 and it was really good. Don't go for the atmosphere go for the home cooking, the pork cutlets and the banana pudding

I have been coming here since 2009 when I moved to Danville. I specifically like Friday's special because it is the only place that serves fresh roasted turkey (not deli-style). The meatloaf and pot roast are devine. The vegetables are so good. Thank you, Danview, for serving us real food. 😋😋😋😋😋

We hadn't been there in about 3 years. I must say that the service was good but the food was a disappointment. My carrots were room temperature and the chicken thigh was so big that I thought it was a breast. The skin of the thigh was tough and so was the meat. The waitress offered to try to get us a discount but I told her not to bother because we are not going back. They used to have excellent cooks but not anymore.
