The Toasted Yolk Cafe is known for a great breakfast experience. Customers can put their name on the waitlist online and expect a wait of about forty‑five minutes on a Sunday. The waitress is very nice, explains the menu, and gives suggestions. She sells a neat coffee cup that many customers buy after her service. The food is considered the best breakfast in Danville, Virginia, and better than I‑hop. A server with a bubbly personality and warmth makes guests feel at home. The cafe is large, new, clean, and offers unexpected selections. Staff understand their role, so you get in and out for a reasonable price.
Eat‑in is popular at the bar, where the bartender is excellent, friendly, and attentive. Popular dishes include brisket eggs, which are super filling and tasty, and the regular breakfast with eggs, hashbrown casserole, and chicken sausage. The chicken apple sausage links are liked by picky breakfast‑meat lovers. Takeout is also good: blueberry donuts with blueberry compote, belgian waffles, and normal egg breakfast. Most orders are filled perfectly. One customer gave four stars because a pork sausage was served instead of turkey, but the difference was noticed before eating.
