We googled a breakfast spot while traveling thru Danville. What a treat to find Nana Karen’s! Absolutely delicious food - breakfast BLT and chicken & waffles, served by a pleasant and gracious staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here.
Visiting for the weekend and selected this spot due to the Google reviews. Can say for myself that the reviews were right - the food here is sooo good. From the fried chicken breakfast sandwiches to the Oreo cheesecake waffles, everything was absolutely delicious. Nothing was too heavy or too thick or too sweet, it was all just right. We arrived around 11:30am on a Saturday and we were one of three parties there. By noon, the place was very busy but they seemed to handle the crowd...
Very nice, locally-owned eatery. The staff was pleasant, and the food was great. The fish nuggets were delicious, and the house-made tartar sauce was great, and I don't even like tartar!
Definitely coming back to try some of their over-the-top waffles.
