Wonderful food for the soul just like advertised! The fried chicken was very flavorful, the mac-n-cheese and collard greens were to die for! Really awesome customer service. Worth the detour off the beaten path and we'll make this a regular stop for sure!

The meat was very tender and not rubbery. Seasoned well. They asked me what I want on it. That embossed bun was soft and fresh. A perfect hamburger. Absolutely delicious. The fries were good and cooked in clean grease. And cost less than McDonald's.

Ok so I'm gonna start this so you guys can fix I and stay in business cause the food was really good but in the main kitchen area I didn't see any smoke detectors, there was a nasty pot boiling over on the stove for a good 30 minutes, there was a guy who was cutting Vegetables without gloves and I'm pretty sure he had a band aid on, and the milk was just out on the counter and I could tell they don't really put it up because I was there for an hour waiting on my food and they never put it up at all, I wrote this review so you guys could fix these things and stay open because like I said that food was fresh and delicious, please fix these issues I would love to come back when they are

My first visit to this location was absolutely spectacular. The Mac and cheese will definitely have me coming back!! The owner his daughter and the staff were great. This will def be one of my go to places. A hidden gem!!

Catfish (enough for 4+ meals), cabbage is to die for, turnip greens, homemade Mac and cheese, sweet potatoes… omg only restaurant I’ve ever had food this good (except the one I used to own)!!! Best catfish I’ve ever eaten! Soul of the Sea is now our go to restaurant at least once a week! Don’t change a thing!!
