Stopped for lunch. Waitress was polite, helpful, attentive and friendly. Good variety on the menu. Food was delivered fresh and hot. Everything we ordered was delicious. Servings were larger than expected, easily shareable. Restaurant was clean....It was nice to go somewhere where no one had an issue. Will definitely go again.
I make this stop at least once every trip to Danville. The food is southern home style and I have never had a bad meal. They have specials each week day that keeps the regulars coming back. For me it’s the fried okra. (Double side, please!) They have options that are less traditionally southern if collards and baloney burgers aren’t your thing (although they are excellent here).
