Food so hot and fresh you gotta wait for it to cool down before taking a bite. Tastes like eating at ya granny’s house! (Minus the 80° thermostat & cigarette smoke 🤣)

Downtown Grub offers outstanding food and friendly service in a comfortable atmosphere. The large menu includes burgers, salads, sandwiches, shrimp, and meatloaf. Highlights include the big ol' burger, homemade hush puppies, perfectly seasoned baked beans, and great french fries. The cornbread has been described as amazing, and the Banana Pudding is among the best ever had. The relaxing music and friendly staff enhance the dining experience. Customers praise the quality and quantity of the food, including the flavorful grilled shrimp, fried chicken, and fried fish. The Philly cheese steak egg rolls and cheesesteak egg rolls are highly recommended, along with the Garlic Parmesan Wings. The restaurant is clean, warm, and well-maintained, with ample parking and a welcoming atmosphere for families. Many visitors appreciate the owners' kindness and how they make everyone feel like old friends.
