“Incredible food!! The best in Virginia! Made with a lot of love. Owners are super kind and deserve every great compliment. Their employees are trained very well and also extremely polite and well mannered. If you have not tried thier subs yet I highly recommend turkey, provolone, lettuce, tomato, red onion. S&P, vinegrette that's homemade, pepperchinnies and a touch of mayo. The best sandwich you'll ever have. 50+ ************************ I'll definitely be back!! Been back since my first visit and have not stopped:) coming. So try it out and I guarantee you will be so satisfied.”

It would be nice to petition them off with a wall that reaches from roof to floor to help avoid the unpleasant smells.”

“We stumbled across this place while exploring the area (we’re new to the state), and what a gem! The coffee is absolutely amazing…I’m super picky about my coffee, and both the White Chocolate Latte and the Kit Kat Latte were out of this world. Honestly couldn’t pick a favorite! Our kids enjoyed milkshakes and an ice cream cone, and they were just as delicious. The owner and his daughter were so welcoming, sharing a bit of their story and keeping great conversation with us, it made the experience feel personal and genuine. We left so impressed and already can’t wait to come back. And the cherry on top? They have a coffee card where your 10th drink is FREE… Starbucks could never 😜 Highly recommend!”

“This small hometown business is the definition of family atmosphere. The curbside drive in is what you could ask for on a hot sunny day. over 50+ different milkshake flavors and plenty of ice cream options to choose from beyond satisfactory. Service is always amazing and the wait time for for is not more than 15-20 minutes depending on your order. I normally decide on a philly cheesesteak, but their menu is full of so many options. Pricing is very decent and they always have specials going on every day. I suggest stopping by this joint and enjoy some home-cooked meals at a not so expensive price. 10/10 would recommend.”

“Me and my family were in town for a family reunion. We were staying at Fancy Gap Cabins and Campground and they gave us a guide with your establishment in it. We ordered 2 large pizzas. Not only was the price good, the customer service was GREAT and the food was even BETTER. Every time we are in town we will be making a stop to get a pizza.”

“Having Michael (former owner/chef of Mickey G’s) as the head chef brings us from NC, which is almost 2 hours away. My wife and I done here, typically, once a month, and each visit is more enjoyable than the previous. The food has always been exceptionally good and our servers have been wonderful. We’ll be back again soon.”

“We came last night to watch Zephyr Union play live and decided to sit at the bar to grab drinks and a bite to eat. The food was great—I definitely recommend the blackened chicken wrap and the pretzels with beer cheese. The service was excellent! I only got the name of our primary bartender, Tasha, and she was super friendly, attentive, and professional. The other bar staff we encountered were awesome too. I also noticed the restrooms were incredibly clean (which I certainly appreciated). It was my first time at The Mason Jar and I can’t wait to come back. Thank you for a fun Saturday night with great food, drinks, and atmosphere!”

“It was cold outside so I ordered vegetable beef soup with grilled cheese sandwich. The soup had lots of ground beef in it and chunks of potatoes along with other vegetables. The grilled cheese sandwich was just how I make it at home. The bread was buttered prior to grilling. There was mayonnaise on the sandwich which blended well with the gooey, melted American cheese. It was a great warm me up meal that didn’t break the bank.”
