Milk & Honey Cafe´ in Ashburn is a charming restaurant known for its friendly service and wonderful ambiance. The staff are attentive, personable, and make sure guests feel welcomed. The food presentation is appealing and the atmosphere is hip, making it a pleasant place to visit. The menu features dishes like Chicken and Biscuits and French Toast, which are delicious and beautifully presented. The honey biscuit appetizer is flavorful, even if not served hot, and the breaded catfish with cheesy grits is tasty, though the sauce can be a bit diluted. The steak is highly praised, considered the best ever, with Chef Marcus receiving lots of credit. The Carolina Low Country Gumbo is seasoned to perfection, packed full of flavor, and the broth is so tasty. The chicken and Biscoff waffle is an A+, with good breading on the chicken and a Biscoff waffle. The biscoff waffles and the shrimp and grits are delicious, with the cheesey grits reminding some of home cooking. The chicken and biscuits could have had more sauce, but the chicken was moist and perfectly cooked, and the biscuits were fluffy and light. The restaurant is nicely decorated, with plenty of room between tables. However, this place is LOUD, as the acoustics make everything especially loud. The overall experience is warm and inviting, encouraging guests to revisit with friends and enjoy good food and service.
