We visited Saahil today for a food tasting to finalize the catering menu for our son’s upcoming grad party. We received a warm welcome from both Dr. Shah (the owner) and Murtaza (the manager). The food quality, taste and presentation were spot on. The mocktails & dessert were outstanding! Chef Ehtesham who hails from Karachi and carries an impressive culinary background, also paid us a visit. Murtaza was very attentive to our needs and made helpful suggestions for the menu....
The mocktails were great, especially the Rang e Sehar. The seekh kabob is amazing. We tried almost all the appetizers and not only was the portion size great, they all tasted great too. The price was also good. 10/10 would recommend as a fine dining desi spot in Virginia. The only thing I would recommend would be to make reservations before going because they are very busy.
This restaurant has excellent decor, excellent service, but most of all it has amazing food menu. All the dishes we had were a modern twist on the traditional Indian food. My hats off to the chef and the management for a job very well done!
