Server working overtime to serve me before my flight, with a group of 12 that came in at 530am

It’s getting one star because the coffee wasn’t awful. I’ve had better breakfasts at a holiday inn. The sausage tasted like it was made of paper maché, my over easy eggs were overdone, and the breakfast potatoes were the cheap frozen in a bag from Walmart kind. The waitress was polite but inattentive.

We picked this spot because it was close to our gate B71. We combined three small side tables so the three of us could sit against the booth cushion since we ran the USMC marathon the day before and were extremely sore. The female manager did not like this even though it was mid-morning and the restaurant was not crowded at all.
Things just got worse from here on out. The manager closed the QR code app bc we combined the tables and I was the only one who was able to order breakfast. When the second server came over again, we tried to place an order in person but the other two were then told it was too late to order breakfast.
A few moments later the manager came back over and tried to give us coffee based off of an order. We advised her we didn’t order coffee bc she closed the QR code to the additional tables, so it couldn’t be ours. She insisted several times that it was our order. Finally she walked around the restaurant trying to deliver the coffee to a couple of other wrong people until she eventually found the right person who ordered.
This restaurant is poorly run and inefficient and the female manager needs to work on improving her logistic and social skills as well as learning the table numbering/ordering system in her own restaurant properly. We were not the only one who had trouble ordering from the table QR code.
The only benefits to this place were the breakfast (2 egg, bacon, toast, hash browns) that tasted normal and there were sports on the tv’s in the background. Otherwise avoid.

Ordered a Buffalo chicken an. They forgot some ingredients and they serve it with two strips instead of a whole breast. Made me sick. Skip this place.

Low quality food, even for an airport. Worst coleslaw ever (inedible).

Coffee that tastes like the bottom of a 3 day old brew, a zombie waitress who couldn't be bothered to bring me cream or sugar or refill my $5 cup of nastiness as it might have taken her away from her conversation with the cool about how much they don't want to be there. And the cook? Food was meh. I shod have know. Something wasnt right when I was one of two people in the place while Ben's Chili bowl were hopping just a few feet away.
Just sad 😔

Walked up to the host stand where hostess and waitress were arguing in front of us and did not acknowledge that we were standing there waiting to be sat. Hostess eventually told us that it was open seating so we sat down. Had to wait for the server and host to get back from speaking to HR before we were spoken to. Server came over and asked if we had been taken care of and we said “no,” and she proceeded to walk away and did not revisit our table. We eventually left because we waited 20 minutes with no service, and would rather spend our money elsewhere. Worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant and will never return.

Restaurantji Recommends
Fish tacos were good. No salt on the fries(under cooked) and service is almost non existent so enjoy waiting...
Our fish was undercooked on top of that it's just boxed store bought fish. None of the food was seasoned. There was not enough staff help. Drinks came back wrong twice. Very poor experience and would not recommend. It's sad due to the fact that it's a Commanders restaurant in Washington DC.

This was a nice little spot, been several times and each time not very crowded but service is hard to get. Although, the waitress is very nice and even tracked down a customer who forgot his bag. Awesome 🍸 and well done. She cares about the customers, that's for sure.
The first drink I got was amazing, but the second, not so much. And I'm not sure why. It was the same drink lol maybe a fluke accident, maybe forgot an ingredient.
They have QR codes on the bar to scan for service and to pay, which is nice in a hurry, but it didn't work with my camera. Very odd, this has never happened before. I didn't have service for 20 mins, which is when I decided to download a special scan app that did work on the QR code to get my order.
Its nice, it's good, but not great. Cheers
Black mirror society where two staff sit while you sit yourself, attempt to use a QR code all while paying through the nose if you can and they ask for a tip. Lol. Don't go here.
Update: The bracket room same terminal has actual human beings working there that provide service 10/10. Your welcome
