I’m leaving a review here because I used to frequent this place often when it was Log Cabin BBQ. It was a staple of our trips to Massanutten and the food and service was always top knotch.About a year and a half ago we revisited when it changed to 1835 Smokehouse. This meal certainly met my high expectations. I got the pork bbq plate which came with two sides and i had to choose mac and cheese and hushpuppies. Lots of places to sit and could be a good hangout with the boys if you are trying to chill for a good 30-45 minutes. Relatively cheap if you are looking for a cheaper place to eat. Atmosphere of place is amazing and i would definitely recommend this place to eat sometime on vacation or just stopping by massanutten.

The portion of meat was normal but the meat was too sweet.They were out of the very side I came there for. The slaw is good.Baked beans, too sweet.I prefer Carolina style and their sauce is not carolina. Period.
