The portion of meat was normal but the meat was too sweet.They were out of the very side I came there for. The slaw is good.Baked beans, too sweet.I prefer Carolina style and their sauce is not carolina. Period.
I’m leaving a review here because I used to frequent this place often when it was Log Cabin BBQ. It was a staple of our trips to Massanutten and the food and service was always top knotch.About a year and a half ago we revisited when it changed to 1835 Smokehouse. It had declined from its Log Cabin days but was still ok (had table service and food was decent).Just tried going there for dinner the other day and the place had no service at all.
