“Emporia, VA - the best Five Guys! The staff is so friendly and nice, they even brought out a fork to my vehicle when they saw I didn’t grab one for a burger bowl. Robert L on the register was so friendly. Recommend stopping there if you’re ever going through Emporia.“

“This location was excellent we stopped about 1 hour earlier in Rocky Mount at 7047 NC 4 and it was absolutely terrible when we walked in there was eight people in line five of which were waiting for their order on the left hand side. three in front of us were waiting to order we waited nearly 15 minutes before those three people finally got to place their order and at that point I decided to leave. very nice people working there but understaffed and no sense of customer service or sense of urgency“

“I am not one to rate Mcdonalds with 5 stars. But for this visit I felt it was appropriate. We stayed at hotel across street and decided to get breakfast here. I went inside to order on kiosk. I sat and waited a few for my order and to my suprise they called my number. The older lady working was friendly and even asked if I needed help carrying my food and drinks. She opened the door for me, which was so kind of her! Got to car and wow my whole order was correct even down to utensils, straws, etc. They for sure made sure I had everything I needed. Food was hot as well.“

“We stopped around 2pm on a Saturday afternoon and ordered inside. There was a woman already waiting for her order. It took a while to get outs. Food was fine. BBQ sauce for the chicken nuggets tasted super sweet. Read the ingredients and sugar was the 2nd ingredient followed by tomato paste. Ugh.“

“I never have written a review for a fast food place other than to give feedback for Door Dash. But I felt like based on my experience yesterday, I thought this location deserves a nice review. Most times when people do a review for fast food, it’s to complain. However, I would like to do the opposite. I actually tried to fill out the survey from the receipt, but it wouldn’t let me proceed further based on the numbers I plugged in. Anyway, I thought I would add it to Google. I visited this location yesterday afternoon while passing through Emporia, driving from VA to NC. Stopped to get a bite to eat through the drive thru. Ordered a burger combo, nuggets and a drink. The main reason I was willing to write a review was because of the service, the lady cashier at the window was so nice and accommodating. She helped with my order because I just wanted a Bacon cheeseburger and they didn’t have the King Jr so she suggested of getting what I wanted without getting something too much for me to eat. It was like talking to a family member through the microphone. It took a little time to get my food. But not long, it was worth it because the food was hot, fries crispy and not limp. Burger and nuggets were not smushed, or crusty as if they were just sitting under a hot lamp for the last hour. All condiments were in the bag and plenty of napkins too. So, thanks for the great food and customer service. Keep up the good work!“
