Average size eatery with tables to eat there. 3 guys there to help you. My first time there & I got the pastrami melt on wheat sub roll. I asked them to cut it expecting them to cut in half..opened the box & to my surprise I got it sliced in 5 sections on a slant! And put in a nice thick hardened paper container! Wow ..you outdid yourselves! Grilled the pastrami ... 👌 awesome taste!
Very good staff and food. Wish they had Diet Pepsi instead of Coke products.

Firehouse Subs Emporia Atlantic Street is an average size eatery with tables to eat there and 3 guys there to help you. It is a great location with easy parking and easy access to I-95. Food quality was outstanding. People were very friendly. The store and bathroom were super clean. The Italian sub is really great, looks good, tastes good and is a good size. Tasty sandwiches, fries, and cookies are just like other Firehouse sub locations. Staff was super friendly and FAST. It is part of a Shell gas station, and the restrooms were immediately inside the door into the convenience store. The sub shop was clean and had brewed iced tea and a Coke Freestyle soda machine. This has proven to be an excellent new option in Emporia. The New York Steamer is a fave, but the Italian is excellent as well. Great quality and quantity on the subs, and the fries are great. The pastrami melt on wheat sub roll had awesome taste.
