Poor food quality; ordered duck which was bland, extremely dry and had a strong smell to it. Meat was grayish and skin burnt. Threw it away after trying a few pieces. It was the worst duck I've ever tried.

3/5 was being nice. Kung Pao beef had way to many odd vegetables. The pan fried noodles was completely way to much sauce. Kinda taste like the chef doesn’t bring his love and passion to work anymore :(

The food was good on a takeout order. Will definitely try it again. The Kung Pao Chicken was very good.

I was a little disappointed in Peking Chef but it's always a matter of taste. I like General Tso's chicken, a spicy dish. Peking Chef's has no spice, or very little if any, although I did see at least one chili. The Chicken Lo Mein wa also... not the taste I was expecting, more bland with a lot of egg and leafy vegetables. Also had some fried rice which was ok.All of this for $35 picked up. That was not $35 worth of Chinese food. There is a lack of flavor and the price is just too high. The person I spoke with on the phone and in person was very polite and it has a very nice but small seating area.

Food is OK, but service is horrible and count on the order never being correct. Have finally learned my lesson.

Good quality, nicely prepared dishes. Would like to see some new appetizers.

My first time experience. I was greeted properly. The cook was a nice and respectful guy. I asked the lady that took my order if she could make a salt & pepper tofu and if the tofu would be breaded and fried. She said it would. I ordered a General Tso tofu which she said would be fried but not breaded. I also order a dried cauliflower dish to try. The cook was nice enough to ask me if I like spicy food and I said yes. Our order was for carry out, so I could not judge the food until I arrived home. Since the cook was interested in my feedback, I am offering up some advice out of respect for the cook and hope you will take my advice to improve because I believe this restaurant has potential to do much better. My rating is due to the flavor profile of all three dishes. None of them suited my taste. The spice level was fine. No issues there. I would have preferred even more peppers in the salt and pepper tofu. Starting the with the salt and pepper tofu, the tofu was not breaded, only deep fried and most likely the oil was previously used to cook meat products so it was not vegetarian friendly. The taste was less than desirable. To improve this dish, I suggest that you dip the damp tofu in a mixture of corn starch mixed with corn flour (no egg required). Fry it until crispy. Add large slices of jalapeno, onion and garlic and top it off with a seasoning mixture of black pepper, salt, and a little bit of Chinese five-spice. This dish had little to no jalapeno or garlic and the salt was a bit chunky in certain spots. The appearance/presentation of the dish was not enticing. Now for the General Tso tofu, the price was too high. Should reduce by $3. The size of the tofu chunks was acceptable. The breading around the tofu was acceptable. The sauce was sub-par. Please invest in a better sauce and you will have more customers. Lastly, the dried cauliflower was lacking taste and presentation. Suggest that you dampen the cauliflower in a spicy/tangy sauce and then bread it or dip into the same corn starch/corn flour mixture I described above, then deep fry and top off with more quality red spicy sauce. If you experiment with this, I am sure you will see better fortune and reviews. Best of luck.

I'm a 45-year-old single father and I moved to Burke 2 years ago, so I know all the carry out places of course.as far as quick, take out, or delivery specific Chinese food- where you do not sit down in a restaurant atmosphere... Taking chef take out and deliver a restaurant one is among the best. (There are several decent comfortable boots if you want to eat there also).I drive to Peking chef for the high quality of food. I met The chef today who was very friendly, and to no surprise... Mentioned that he has been cooking Chinese food since 1990 that so he has plenty of a good experience and is a master at his craft, trust me on this one.I give it a five star review since I've been eating Chinese food my whole life and put this at the top of my list, only just behind House of dynasty in Alexandria... But that place is more expensive and a sit down restaurant with waiter you tip.

They were arguing as I walked in and continued till I left. Order the schezuan chicken but it was mostly vegetable might as well called it a chicken salad. The place reeked of fabuloso, seems like they’re trying cover up some stink. At least the food was fast so I could gtfo

I've been going here with my family for years. We just ordered and I went to pick up. On their door they have a sticker that says they accept tap to pay. I went in and told her i was using tap and she rudely told me they didn't have it and then a man came around the back screaming at me saying "they don't have it and they never have had it" I said I had to leave and get a card because I only brought my phone and he proceeded to follow me to my car yelling that i couldn't leave and not pay for the food when I LITERALLY had no way to!!! Super rude and scary, kind of made me cry. I will never be going back here and neither will my family.

Food isn't good here anymore, new ownership is also not friendly like the previous owners.
