The spot is kinda hidden and you wouldn’t expect much but we loved the hotpot here and the fact that everything was self serve (except the meats).

The best hotpot place. Very clean place and offers a great selection or buffet style veggies and fish cakes.

The soup was too plain, less flavor. Beef and pork was good. Baby octopus was fresh, but it would be nice to cut it to a smaller pieces. Service was little slow, but acceptable. Menu was confusing.

Excellent and clean shabu shabu restaurant. The selection on their AYCE was generous for the price and everything was delicious! You can see them cutting meat to order in the back! However, service was honestly a miss — while our waiter was friendly, he was handling too many tables to be able to check in with us for additional orders, to take away empty plates, and to get us the check. Might have been a staffing issue just on the day we went though

The restaurant is nice and clean. There are a lot of broth options and veggies and meats. For the lunch special, it costs $20. You can choose 1 meat or seafood (only 1 order) but you can get - all you can eat- vegetables and the other food from the bar. Staff is nice.

Only had four (really just two) options for broth. Was either regular or spicy dashi or regular or spicy beef. Pretty standard menu for shabu shabu. Services were great though. Probably main redeeming quality was service.

The price is very reasonable but the food was just okay - the tofu you can grab from the open area tasted funky (most likely gone bad) so i didn’t finish eating them. There were also dead bugs underneath our table which were most likely roaches and left ASAP after seeing them. 3/5 being very generous.

When I entered the store, there was a smell in the store. The vegetables were not fresh and the food smelled bad. The smell of sour food?

I couldn't eat food because I was afraid of getting sick. The quality is so terrible compared to the Atlanta branch☠️☠️

Comparable price with other ayce hotpot places, but limited protein options and mediocre broth bump this place down to the bottom of my ayce hotpot choices in the entire DMV area. Not to mention they were out of rice when I went (what hotpot place runs out of rice..?) It's not a bad option, but it's not quite good either, so if you're paying a price similar to other places, you might as well go to other places that have more, better quality options and more flavorful broths. The only positives were the service and the individual pots.

The food was not bad and the server was great in terms of giving us what we need but I didn’t realize there was a cockroach right by my feet the whole time during dinner. When I brought it up to the server, she said “oh really? Sorry,” then proceeded to show us the bill. We weren’t looking for any compensation but some remorse would’ve been appreciated. Now, I wish I took a picture but I didn’t think the server would be so nonchalant about it as if it was a common reoccurrence.

I really hope the cockroaches were a one-time thing seeing how this place has high rating..
