Angelika used to be so cool and interesting - what happened? Went on a Friday night, Mosaic was packed but hardly anyone there, maybe two people working, escalators broken, carpet coming up, toilets blocked. What happened?
This place is super cute and plays a variety of movies from newer releases to older classics. I've gone here a few times and definitely plan to go again. There's a quality to their projectors that leads to the image on the screen looking a little different (like, it's hard to notice unless you're already familiar with the movie) than something with a higher fidelity, but I personally find it kind of charming. We love the National theatre performances and invite always a group of friends, but they are not often enough. Avalon cinema in Bethesda offers them a lot. I wish you could change that. It is lovely that you offer comfortable reclining chairs.
