Please update your operating hours on Google for Saturdays… We invited people and when we arrived the place was closed. It was very inconvenient.
Finally found ma favorite (budget) quality sushi spot in VA.
My wife and I went here on a Saturday night. The food was great and I'd highly recommend them.
They were very busy so if you go on a Saturday night, you might want to call ahead.
But that also proves they are great because they are busy.
Cute and decent but not nearly as good as Burke Fortune House in Burke, VA. 😉 THIS IS THE WAY
One of the best and fresh places to eat sushi. Top notch food and staff. Highly recommended.

Who says you have to travel to Washington, D.C. for great sushi? Ariake Fairfax is absolutely wonderful. The fish is fresh. Service is great. The people there are very friendly. My favorite is the dinner chirashi. I often go to the Reston location as well. Same great quality and service. Go here. This place is a real gem !!
Ate here the other day, and the quality was insane. While the price was a little high, the quality reflects it clearly. Staff are very no nonsense. They fill your drinks, bring you food, but not overbearing or pushy.

Food is good. Pregnant wife was turned away just before closing with our infant son. Also fairly certain my last review was deleted.

I’ve visited Ariake a lot in the last 8 years this is the first time I’ve been disappointed. I’ve noticed tends to happen to restaurants that get hyped up in food groups or social media for their quality. It’s quite regrettable that their quality on fish has gone down so much. I ordered the fatty toro, toro and mackerel the fish was not good. Next time I think I will have to stick to some of the smaller sushi places that advertise when they receive their fish orders.

Fresh sushi. Fast service. Great pricing. Quailty and presentation was great. Fish to rice ratio was excellent. What more can you ask for? This is one of my new favorite sushi spots . We got the Florida roll, the ariake roll, the French kiss roll, and Reston roll. All melt in your mouth.
Really enjoyed the dining experience here! We did have a bit of a long wait due to no reservations, but it was worth it. 10/10 recommend the nagiri eel, so delicious. Everything tasted fresh and was played beautifully!
