Very good dinner with friends. Food & service were great. My Chicken Marsala was totally delicious. My husband was quite happy with the pasta special. We'll come back.
We had a wonderful experience and enjoyed the food. This is authentic Italian. It wasn't as busy as I would've expected or as busy as some of the surrounding places but I assume that people enjoy the bar scene more than a nice restaurant. Was well worth taking the risk and visiting.
This was, hands down, the best meal of my life. We got the vegetarian chef's menu (~$90 for two) and it was not only a generous amount of food, but also the tastiest Italian food I've ever had. Every thing that came out of the kitchen was better than the last and considering it started with a lightly fried ball of burrata in the best red sauce I've had in my life, that is saying something.
Authentic Italian experience we haven't had anywhere else in the DMV area. Understated elegance, excellent food and wine, and affordable - we felt we had traveled to Italy while there.
It was a lovely time, and nice that there was free parking just across the street. The service was attentive, and the menu had a nice variety. A great place to have nice evening out.
Very nice small restaurant. Perfect location. The service is great, and the food is outstanding. Fresh and authentic Italian flavor. The wine selection is great too.

This restaurant was very cute and I decided to try it for restaurant week. I had the crab ravioli, ceasar salad, and a canoli, all of the food was wonderful. The restaurant was very nice and it is most definitely a great place to take someone on an intimate date. The staff were very attentive and were always helpful. I do recommend this place, you'll love it. I went when it first opened on a Sunday evening.

The Hostess was very rude and discourteous from the moment we walked in the door. The hostess was so rude upon our entrance that after being seated we decided to leave and enjoy our evening somewhere else. As the only customers in the restaurant the hostess certainly was not welcoming and after rudely being seated proceeded to yell at wait staff. I do not recommend this restaurant based on our poor initial impressions of the hostess. We were so disgusted by her behavior that we didn’t stick around for the food,
Small but offers a great dining experience. The server was super nice. The food was amazing. Went for lunch and the food was very filling. The best part of course for me, the dessert. Had the tiramisu and it blew me away. It was soft, delicate, sweet, juicy, and overall an amazing treat! Would definitely recommend. Took no photos because I honestly enjoyed it so much I forgot which is rare. Needless to say everything on each of the courses was gone pretty quickly.

The entree was disappointing. Had the Veal Porcini. The mashed potatoes were far too salty. The menu described a touch of cream, but the sauce was a heavy cream.

The price for the food and experience for my birthday and anniversary was above average. They had extended the restaurant week menu so I wasn't able to try the regular menu. This was my first visit. I would try again but it's not my favorite Italian restaurant. The bread was great as was the cannoli. The appetizers were good but the main menu was average.
Came for restaurant week with friends. The menu choices were great as was the service. I gave ambience two stars because we were seated under a vent blasting us with very cold air—brrrr. If you go you'll have great service and food; just don't sit at the front corner table.
After being in the restaurant for an hour (we were served our appetizers), I was served the wrong veal dish that was inedible to me me due to the spice level. I asked that it be removed, which it was. Meanwhile my friends were eating and enjoying their dinners. I was offered another look at a menu, but I couldn't face waiting at least a half hour for dinner when my friends were finishing theirs. Snafu
We want to Bellissimo to celebrate a birthday. The food and the service were both excellent, and the ambience -- comfort and noise level -- was much better than at many restaurants. The high point was the Filetto di Manzo tenderloin, which was superb.
Nice restaurant in downtown Fairfax, VA. The service was great and the atmosphere was amazing. We ordered the vegetarian 5 course meal for 2 and it was delicious and filling.
