I absolutely love this bakery! It’s been hard finding a good Italian bakery— like the ones I grew up visiting in San Francisco and Philly. But the baked goods I’ve had at this bakery completely out shine those ones. My favorite are the cannoli and rainbow cookies. The rainbow cookies never make it home because I usually finish them in the car. However, it’s their seasonal and fresh flavors for tiramisu, cannolis and pastries that keep me coming back to see what else is offered. Also, they have genius cannoli-to-go boxes that are perfect for serving fresh cannoli later in the week.
The owner is absolutely amazing and warm and so helpful in picking out foods that you and your family and friends will like. They are now my go-to spot for parties and events or just eat on my couch with my family. Cannot recommend them enough!
Don’t get fooled by its unassuming storefront. Just push the door open and place your order because you’ve found the best cannolis!

I have been coming to Nicole since I was picking up cannolis in a parking lot. The shop and product selection has grown since then without an impact on quality.
I am from NJ and have been spoiled by really great Italian desserts. Nicole brings a little slice of this to Northern Virginia.
Some of our favorites are the rainbow and lemon ricotta cookies, the cannoli cake, and her seasonal items which are always ridiculous.
To add to the great products, she is so so kind. I love visiting the shop. Highly highly recommend.

Outstanding desserts and customer service! We loved the Cannolis the Tiramisu and the Rainbow Cake slices. My wife and kids loved the cannolis for mothers day. Im a big fan of thr traditional flavors with a spin on them and they did a great job. Next time I need to get the raspberry tiramisu. The owner was really friendly. We'll be back!

Bisnonna is the real deal for Italian desserts! We're tried too many cannoli flavor to count at this point, and each one is a treat. We love the fill-your-own cannoli option for keeping the experience top-notch when serving at home. All of the cookies are delicious (shout outs to lemon ricotta, leaf, and pignoli), but I am shameless about adding rainbow cookies to every order we place throughout the year. I was most recently impressed by the tiramisu -- I don't usually go for it because it's often disappointing at restaurants, but Nicole's gingerbread eggnog spin on it was incredible. Cannot recommend Bisnonna enough!

I have ordered from this bakery multiple times. I’m Italian-American and this stuff is the real deal! Better than “famous” Italian bakeries in New York City and Boston. The cannoli are amazing and I love that there are seasonal flavors. The cookies always taste so fresh. My favorite is the pignoli but they are all amazing. I didn’t even really like rainbow cookies until I had them from here!

Bisnonna provided the most beautiful and delicious assortment of Italian desserts for our wedding. I loved them, and our guests raved about them, especially the pistachio cannoli and Italian rainbow cookies. I had a specific vision in mind of a table overflowing with gorgeous Italian cookies and Bisnonna helped us achieve that, even with our venue being outside their delivery range, by helping us with packaging and transport consultation. I'm obsessed with the results and can't wait to come back and order desserts here on the regular!
