This place is less than 1 mile from my house and I visited for the first time. I love taro and the high carb dessert boba (not necessarily teas). It's not an inviting place to sit for dessert- big white walls, no music when I came in. For someone like me unfamiliar, I would have turned around and out the door. But because I was on an adventurous side on this day what I really wanted was bingsoo (Korean shaved ice with ice cream that is sold in many koreatown Cafes and restaurants in Annandale. I was very disappointed to find out this place has no such dessert because they do not have ice cream. Another reason for me to leave. Like I said I was being adventurous this day and decided to go ahead and try their shaved ice and toppings. It was actually pretty good, but I still prefer the Bing Soo shaved ice with ice cream and toppings. So yes, if I'm there near Annandale or I am willing to make the drive. I will definitely go out there for the dessert that I truly came for but if I don't have the time I may settle for the desserts here because they are tasty. Hopefully they will expand their menu to draw in more customers. You know like make this the go to place for ice cream bingsoo desserts and boba teas. Maybe even some bakery items or coffee.

We love this family-owned shop for a delicious snack and drink. Everyone is so nice, and the service is always very friendly and quick.

I was really looking forward to trying this place because it's very close to where I live. I had a friend visiting from outside the country and she was also equally excited to try Korean bingsoo. Unfortunately, the second we stepped foot in the store, we were hit by a horrible stinky smell. I'm not sure if it's the smell of some food items or cleaning chemicals, or poor ventilation. The smell was so strong I could taste it. We lost our appetite and had to turn around and leave immediately. I had high hopes for this place, but management really needs to look into this suspicious unhygienic smell.

It is hard to find Taiwanese shaved ice in the US. This restaurant makes good ones and the price is reasonable. I ate two shaved ice myself.

Delivers every time! Cents Taro is one of its kind in the area! It consistently delivers satisfying & authentic Taiwanese night market desserts that make me feel so nostalgic for my childhood summer trips. Even my native-born Taiwanese parents were impressed. The owners are there every time we stop by and are so sweet. They really care about their product and it shows. Favorites: shave ice with mango or coconut pudding, boba, red bean, and taro balls OR tofu pudding, mung beans, white tapioca pearls, and taro balls. Though they're all worth trying! There's something for everyone (plus cold and warm options)!

After dinner, my brother and I return to this place and brought more people. They feature new flavors and I'm glad I got them. You choose the items in your dessert bowl. I order the two toppings bowl but you are allowed to order as much toppings you wish with extra cost and control the sweetness level. A must topping is coconut jelly, guava jelly, grass jelly and it's served with coconut milk. The owners husband and wife are knowledgeable and friendly to assist you. They also served seafood items too. This cafe is comfy and clean. Your taste buds won't be disappointed.

Excellent Chinese dessert place with a limited selection of base (tofu pudding or grass jelly) but with an extensive choice of toppings. Highly recommend the red beans and taro ball toppings. Prices are on par with other similar establishments.

My friend and I came when it just opened for the day, so it was nice and quiet. We should've ordered more toppings, but i didn't know what to expect. It was decent, but i wanna try the other stuff next time. I think it would be better with more toppings and more people.

Very shorthanded. Takes 5min to get ordered. Takes exact 20min to get the food(which is super slow since we only ordered one item). The taro is not as good as Meet Fresh.
