Save your cash and frustration as the less than mediocre food simply isn't worth the heaping side of sass you'll be served. The chastising nature of the middle aged men taking the orders reminds me of my teenage boys. While I repeatedly asked for no onions, I received a few eye rolls for not knowing their watery Hells Kitchen (eggs) came w a side of toast or a bagel. So, instead of accurately taking my order, he attempted to ridicule me for not knowing his menu. My order came out w a ton of onions and was promptly discarded as I'm allergic. Not going back.Dietary restrictions: Onion allergy

We were finally able to enjoy a great lunch at Chutzpah’s. We have been wanting to check out their food out for some time.We were welcomed in and quickly grabbed a table. It was a fairly small diner; booths and tables, but so fun, welcoming and the food smelled wonderful. Our waitress, Gana, was so sweet and really made our first visit here so enjoyable. We tried the classic Reuben sandwich w/potato latkes and sour cream and also the Coufax steak sandwich with onions and a mild horseradish sauce. Both were excellent and for dessert we sampled a chocolate egg cream drink. “SO GOOD!”Check out Chutpah’s and I hope you get Gana as your server, she was THE SWEETEST!

Went to eat breakfast like we do every other week. We asked for a table of four as soon as others finished eating. When a table cleared 15 minutes later we were informed we couldn’t sit until our full party arrived. Fair. However, there were two other tables with only one person eating when there were smaller tables for them to accommodate allowing larger parties the larger tables. The audacity to decline us a table while this is happening is beyond me. At a seat yourself restaurant. We have spent hundreds of dollars here and were going to today as well. I will not be back as long as these “rules” are in place.

I really felt like I was back in NYC, at a deli. Menu is so big, you are sure to find something you like.... that said, I still wish they had plant milks for coffee, a few vegan options would be nice to add. Hope to come back often... Oy gevalt! Next time I will try a knish!

I stopped in because I heard how good the deli is. I just ordered some food to go. It was delicious. I will have to go back some other time when I am in the area. Unfortunately, right now, they are not open for dinner service.

First let me say, this is not the same place I remember in the early 2000’s.Probably the same owners and all but the atmosphere is much more blah now. Maybe the people in the area have changed. The last time I was here I had the Rueben. Amazing, wish I could say that about this meal. Well here it goes.First my waitress, amazing blonde hair with a great attitude. Nice, well spoken and made me feel like I belonged there. You all who read my reviews know how much I hate hanging stuff on walls that collect dust. Get rid of the ball caps. These are disgusting. Mounds of dust on them, some right over tables. Also I dislike places where I have to put my food together. I got the steak and cheese with lettuce tomato and mayo.Seems it missed the assembly line. I had to cut the lettuce and tomato and apply the mayo. The Latinos in the back need to fix the whole sandwich, not half way it.I never talk about the fries cause very seldom do you get decent fries. Here is the same way, nothing special. Now for the steak and cheese on a sub roll minus the lettuce tomato and mayoThe steak was overcooked and tough, making it difficult to chew, and it lacked any real flavor = ZERO FLAVOR. The cheese was oddly plasticky and barely melted, making the whole sandwich feel dry and unappetizing. It was a disappointing meal that left me craving a better steak and cheese sandwich elsewhere.Summarizing , stick to the Jewish food, maybe that is better cause this place can not cook a steak and cheese at all.

Was really looking forward to a Deli near me when I moved to the area. I ordered London broil, later the Passover special and a couple other stops by for sandwiches or bagels. They’ve got to figure out their menu cause each time was so lackluster I have to go to Falls Church for a good experience now. They can’t even get fries right.

Was excited to come here as a NYer and all the rave reviews. However the service was TERRIBLE and so was the pastrami. Basically had no flavor and super dry. The size of the sandwich should have been half the price of what it was. Never returning.

I've been a loyal customer for years, and always look forward to my favorite food. Yesterday was such a disappointment! Our server got two out of 3 orders wrong. The coleslaw was salty. The $3 side order of macaroni salad was literally 2 bites, plus the shells weren't cooked completely, they crunched in the middle. Im praying it was just a bad day..
