Had the Caesar salad and the Cubano sandwich with plantain chips. The sandwich was excellent, definitely do over and the prices were very reasonable compared to the rest of Mosaic’s eateries.

My husband and I went here to try a different coffee shop and for a change from the big corporate coffee shops. Being in a nice area and for the prices we payed really disappointed with the quality and the service. The waiter brought initially only one coffee and than the pastry and than we had to wait at least 10 minutes for the regular drip coffee. The waiter didn’t even put the lid properly and the coffee spilled. We sat outside to enjoy the weather, but flies were constantly flying around in the table. And to mention that it was morning and not busy …

Went for happy hour and only tried the blue iced matcha and a beef empanada but both were fantastic. I recommend a visit and want to come back.
Colada Shop is Mosaic District is convenient and consistent. It's not one of the best coffee shops in the general Fairfax area, but if you are in Mosaic District, it's a nice place to grab a decent coffee or tea. I aim for the Chai Latte.

I feel very disappointed that almost every time I ask for a hot coffee to be delivered, I keep receiving a cold coffee. I asked to talk to the manager and heard when the staff member passed the information, but the manager didn't want to talk to me over the phone.

Consistency problems plague this store. I love the veggie Cuban sandwich, but on several occasions ingredients were totally missing or it wasn't heated enough to make it melty.
