I visited D'Ambrogio Gelato Cafe in Fairfax on August 1st and had a good experience. I want to take a moment to recognize the barista who made us coffee. She was super sweet and very nice, making our coffee with care and a smile.

A definite must try! Service was great! I tried a couple samples before landing on chocolate and it was silky smooth and maybe the best gelato I’ve had! My husband has an affogato and it came with a cute waffer. It was such an awesome treat!

Nice location right in the middle of the mall where the old Starbucks used to be but unlike the old Starbucks, they don’t burn their beans! So their coffee is really good, and doesn’t have that harsh taste that Starbucks espresso does.Definitely try their shaken espresso with the sugar-free caramel, and their Americanos are the perfect roast! Definitely going to come here every time we’re at the mall!

I highly recommend this place! I tried the vanilla, Italian coffee, and salted caramel gelato, and they were incredibly delicious. The texture was so smooth, and it wasn't overly sweet. It truly felt like authentic Italian gelato! The espresso was also exceptional.
