“I have been to this restaurant for years now, since it was called Golden Hong Kong, but, now under new owners and management, it is known as Hot Peppercorn. The food used to be exquisite, well executed and delicious, under the new management when it first opened. I always enjoy their Duck, Salted Fish Fried Rice, the Noodle Dishes, and the Soup Dumplings are very tasty, my son can eat a whole order by himself. However in recent months, I've found a slight change, and not in a good way. The dim sum, especially the siu mai and the har gaw have shrunk in size, and very dried out, not sure if they had them sitting there for a while. The Honey Walnut Prawns I orderd this last time were not whole prawns, infact they were chopped up pieces of shrimp, then battered and fried shaped into the size of what the prawn should have been. The Salt and Pepper Pork Chops were not so good either, they were just greasy, but not crisp as they usually are, and kind of thinner than usual. I understand that things have become a bit more expensive in the last two years, but I don't think restaurants should skimp on the quality of ingredients, especially if you still want to charge the same as you have been. I would lessen the portion, and keep the standard of quality as it has been for years. (these pictures are from two separate occasions)“
“Stopped in for a snack and realized they had frozen prepared meals to go. Picked up three meals, and we ate them with rice and vegetables at home. Quick prep, delicious food. One meal can be stretched depending on appetite. Deal if you buy 3 or 5. Small place. Counter service.“

Nestled in a cozy corner, the restaurant boasts a small parking lot, yet its interior is surprisingly big, adorned with charming decorations that create a welcoming ambiance. We got the crystal shrimp dumplings, a true standout and personal favorite. Each delicate bite burst with flavor, leaving me craving more. Additionally, the rice noodles and pan-fried turnip cake were equally impressive, offering a delightful combination of textures and tastes. What truly impressed me was the swiftness with which each dish arrived at our table, piping hot and brimming with freshness. It was evident that the kitchen operated with precision and care, ensuring a seamless dining experience. Moreover, the attentive service added an extra layer of enjoyment to our meal, as our server was courteous and accommodating throughout. Overall, my visit to Han Palace left a lasting impression, and I look forward to returning to explore more of their delectable offerings in the future.“
“This establishment is located in a former Pho restaurant, and I am pleased to dine here because it offers both Vietnamese pho and dim sum. I believe that these dishes cannot go wrong. Additionally, I am very satisfied with the service, and the cleanliness of the place is impeccable.“
