I love this cozy restaurant. My partner and I decided to have lunch here while we were out running errands. Although it was noon, it felt like dinner for us since we start our days early. We enjoyed some Italian red wines and ordered the Ricotta dip with grilled bread as a starter. I would add a small side of additional toppings for the Ricotta (honey, walnuts, salt/olive oils) as you eat down through the layers. It was delicious but the top layer was the best. We also ordered the grilled octopus appetizer with artichokes, veggies, and potatoes which was absolutely delicious! My partner tried the make your own pasta option, which he really enjoyed choosing noche with rosa sauce, chicken adding in veggies at $1 a piece upcharge. We ended our meal with a delightful crème Brulee for dessert. Our server was pleasant and attentive during our lunch stay. The atmosphere was romantic and quaint. We will definitely be back for more dates :)

Very dependably a great restaurant. I've been there for special dinners and a casual dinner weekend dinner and it never disappoints.

Dolce Vita has such a nice ambience, in which you have the option of choosing more sunlight or less. The olive oil to go with the bread feels just like olive oil imported from Italy, and the taste is so different from the oil used in other restaurants. The food is quite stellar too, and will take you back to Italy. My personal picks from this restaurant are the ziti bolognese, penne arrrabbiata, and the chicken marsala. It's got a nice ambience for date night.Overall, I highly recommend this location and I hope to come back here in the foreseeable future.

Went for happy hour with a large group and had an excellent experience. All servers were very attentive and service was quick and accurate, even when we changed seats. The restaurant even let us bring in a cake from outside for a birthday with advance notice. The appetizers were so tasty and the happy hour specials made it even better! Definitely recommend!

The grilled octopus here is really good. That's the reason why I came here. We also ordered "French Toast Bread Pudding" on the Brunch menu as dessert and that was yummy. The others were mediocre: NY Strip, Linguini Vongole, Baked Ziti Bolognese, Make your own pasta with white sauce chicken + shrimp.

The food and atmosphere were OK. The only thing noteworthy about our meal was that their salad with “tomatoes” (plural) only included one. We indicated we were ordering the salad particularly for the tomatoes, so that was disappointing and inaccurate on the menu.I’d probably not have bothered to rate a 3-starish type of place except for the awful experience that resulted in rating them much lower. Upon arrival, we were told we could sit at any open table, which was nice of them. Their service was very slow, so we didn’t get our main meal until at least an hour into our time there. But we apparently took too long (with a child!), because maybe 20 minutes after getting our food, while we were still eating, we were told to change tables so they could make room for another party. If they were remotely planning in advance they could have placed us somewhere that wouldn’t impact their plans. I’ve never been relocated mid-meal before, and I couldn’t believe the nerve they had to do that, especially considering there was another place they could have placed the reservation. Those empty tables that could have been utilized remained empty until after we left. They barely apologized, in fact started becoming rude after telling us to move, and didn’t even offer to comp anything like any decent restaurant would do for the inconvenience. Needless to say, we’re never going back there again.Kid-friendliness: This place doesn’t seem to care if you have a child, they will still have you move tables if they didn’t plan well when seating you. Would not recommend coming with kids.

I'm so sorry, but this food is not it. Walking out of the place, you feel like it was a semi decent meal, just really bland. However, give it 24 hours and I was fighting for my life on the toilet. Literally had to leave work early that next day and I definitely blame the ziti here rip. The inside of the restaurant is actually really nice though, so don't judge it by the outside, which is slightly scary. Tbh, this place feels like it's detached from reality. Can't quite explain it.

This is based on my second visit. My first visit would have warranted 5 stars.Visited on a Sunday evening arriving at 7:20, with a 9:00 closing. This also happened to be the last day of restaurant week, although we did not order from that fixed price menu. Restaurant was quiet, with 3 other tables sat. No atmosphere. Classic rock playing.Level of attentiveness was poor, from being left waiting at the door, to the responsiveness of the waiter. Waiter also forgot the beer, despite carding the 32 year old birthday girl.Carbonara type dish was ok, but nothing spectacular. Chicken Parm was very disappointing. Breading was greasy and you could taste the fry oil. Chicken tasted like a chicken patty. Pasta sauce was generic.I'd love to come back, perhaps when the front of house team are on their game and the food is fresh. The Bruschetta was excellent. That and my prior visit saved this review.

My visit from California included a dinner at DV on Friday night. The restaurant was packed with lively patrons all enjoying themselves and the delicious food. I don't know if it was our server's first night or if serving 4 senior ladies scared him, but he was basically MIA the entire evening. We couldn't get him to take our orders. Luckily ROMANO RAINONI, the manager, came to our table to pick up where service was lacking. Romano deserves 5 stars for customizing our orders and getting them to us immediately. I would have given this restaurant 5 stars across the board if only the original service had been adequate. The food is so delicious it's worth giving it a try. I think our poor service was a fluke and not indicative of the restaurant overall.

First time dining at this restaurant for restaurant week, and was honestly disappointed in the service that was offered from our waiter. Yurii barely introduced himself, never asked how our meal was, nothing! Also, did even explain to us which wines were paired with our three courses, and when we asked which wines they were, he didn’t know. Ordered fried calamari as an appetizer - never came, but I’m assuming the restaurant manager came over to the table and took the item off our bill. Although the food was tasty, the service left a bad taste in our mouths.
