My friend and I sat down at the bar for a few drinks and some appetizers. The two bartenders on staff had to be called over several times and were met with attitude, almost bothered by doing their job. Bar tenders were standing around eating behind the bar, oblivious to their customers. A very intoxicated man came in and sat to my left, and was shockingly still being served. The man was touching my arm, and I had to shout “DO NOT TOUCH ME”. Staff did nothing about it, and we had to move to the other side of the bar to get away from him. Food was mediocre at best. We ordered the cheese fries and crab dip. The fries came with a small amount of cheese, and the dip was bland and tasted frozen. It’s a shame the service and food are horrible here - the bar itself was very cozy and kitschy. Safe to say, we will NEVER come here again.

Wouldn't let 2 of our party in, and wouldn't say why. They all had an id and all of age.

I went to there open mic and it was pretty chill experience. I liked the open mic because it had amps and mic stands so I could preform my music really loud. I had someone also hop up and do some drums with me. I have been a couple of time and they got the same set up every time. I would go to the open mic and preform you songs that you write. I try and write a song every day and doing open mic and Fats is awesome.

Don’t trust the menu pricing. I was charged $12.45 for Cajun fries and a miller lite, and shocked by the steep pricing, especially since I wasn't informed of the total beforehand. Despite waiting patiently for over 20 minutes, the Cajun fries I anticipated turned out to be nothing more than regular fries sprinkled with black pepper and salt. On top of that, I found the bartender's mannerisms off-putting, as he addressed customers with terms like "baby" "baby girl” “I love you”, and even went as far as to put his hand on my shoulder while serving the fries I had waited so long for. This experience left me thoroughly disappointed with both the behavior of the staff and the overall atmosphere of the establishment, and will definitely not be returning.

What a gem. I had a blast. This was a random night that turned into a fun filled night. Great music/karaoke and great atmosphere. People were just having a good time. The staff was great. I didn’t try the food because I didn’t know I was heading out until last minute and I already ate.

Meh. Karaoke is fun and the food is surprisingly good. The main problem is service, which is routinely awful.I was with some friends last night sitting at the bar and ordering drinks. Initially, our bartender came to us and took our orders...but then he didn't come back for 45 minutes. But I get it, when it's busy you forget things. So when he didn't come back, I went over to the service bar and asked for a single of something and sat back down. Mind you, we're half way across the bar- not a far distance to walk.Guy comes 5 minutes later and angrily, sternly, tells me not to order and "just walk away". Frankly, what do you mean just walk away? I'm sitting at your bar and you're not making an attempt to serve us. As a bartender, if you can't walk a plastic cup of whiskey 15 steps down your bar you don't deserve to be in this industry. You sure as hell don't need my money. We won't be coming back.

Never judge a book by its cover. Myself and two friends decided to take a road trip. Fat Tuesdays was selected online as the place that we would grab some grub and continue with our trip. Omg the outside of the place scared the crap out of us!. Honestly the exterior of the place looks like a redneck biker bar.. As liberated black women we decide to enter anyway. Once inside we seated ourselves at one of the high tables near the bar. All the while saying to ourselves that this place is a dump. We placed our order of drinks which were awesome . They definitely didn't hold back on the alcohol. There were roasted peanuts on all of the tables and yup you guessed it. The expectation is that you drop the shells on the floor‍. Well clutch my pearls, my mom would kill me for doing this. For starters we ordered wings and crab dip. They were delicious!! Oh can't forget the alligator bites that my friend ordered. I didn't like the texture of the meat but the seasoning in the batter was the bomb.com. At 9:00 it was time for Karaoke. Suddenly the place was jumping like a DC nightclub. We had a ball and will definitely come back. Oh and the service was quick, food was hot and fresh. We were treated like we had frequent the place often. Definitely a place to grab some grub while on a ride trip

I spent $6 on the jukebox only for my songs to get skipped.. it's a college bar, the music may not be to the management's liking! if they're skipping the songs, then why even have a jukebox?! Jukeboxes are hard to find, hence why I wanted to go in the first place.Food was bad, definitely frozen but that is to be expected at a dive bar. Gross bathrooms. Subpar service, again, to be expected.I was unaware of the NFL incident and how they no longer play football. I was the only young, non-White woman in this establishment and did not feel comfortable after learning about this.Dingy, dark, and sleazy. unless that's your thing.. STAY AWAY!!

Great food, great beers, great fun!! I like to go for Wednesday trivia night, starting at 6:30, but it gets full so I try to arrive around 5:45. Everything I've had there besides a guest blood orange cider has been great. The Zydeco Wings are perhaps the best wings I've ever had, big fan!! The place is well decorated & it feels like you really are in New Orleans, I can't recommend highly enough!

Slow, unfriendly staff to start. Followed by questionable tap quality. So the happy hour is cheap and the fried pickles were OK. Felt just less than filthy inside. I thought the all whiteness was odd for even this area til a “regular” made it a point to give me a history lesson on the bar about how it changed from Fat Tuesdays to Fats due to being required to do so after controversy around not airing NFL games during the whole kneeling thing. Finally, they don’t take American Express and charge $1 for card transactions. Not surprised college girls don’t hang out here.
