If youve relocated from the midwest, perhaps youre specifically from Wisconsin, and find yourself looking for a homey dive bar in Nova, this is your place. I say that entirely with love and respect. I love a dive bar and i love this spot even if they make screwdrivers with Sunny D.

Fats Fairfax is a lively restaurant that offers a unique experience. The open mic nights are popular, with a professional setup that allows performers to rock out. The atmosphere is always fun, with great music and a lively crowd. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making everyone feel at home. The food is a surprise, with delicious options like wings, crab dip, and alligator bites. The restaurant’s eclectic decor may not be to everyone's taste, but the food and service more than make up for it. Customers enjoy the affordable beer and the free peanuts, creating a relaxed vibe. While some reviews mention slow service or issues like shells in oysters, overall, Fats Fairfax remains a great spot to grab some grub and have a blast with friends. The energy of the place, especially during events and open mic nights, keeps the mood lively and entertaining.
