They delivered us the wrong order. And instead of giving us a refund they justified giving us the wrong order, EVEN AFTER SHOWING THEM THAT THE RECEIPT FROM WHAT WE ORDERED ONLINE AND THE ONE THAT CAME TO US DID NOT MATCH. I love smoothies and think that acai bowls might be my favorite food, normally it's so delicious. So after getting to my hotel and wandering around the nearest mall for a few minutes (looking for something to eat) - when I found Frutta Bowls, I was excited. The atmosphere/set-up was nice, the service (and they were clearly looking for help/hiring) was good, and I was excited to try the food. However, I think the food was the least impressive part of this experience for me. The bowl was good. Not great, but good - and for that price (and the tiny size of a "small") I was expecting great. If another bowl was in front of me, I would eat that bowl again (I wouldn't go out of my way to find one though), and I may find other bowls that are more delicious, so I'll give the benefit of the doubt there.However the tropical smoothie was so bland. It tasted like I was sucking on a water that had been thickened with blended banana (as that was the only flavor that faintly seemed to come through). I hope it was healthy, that way I got some benefit out of finishing it. Overall, the smoothie was disappointing enough that I'm not sure if I'll try Frutta Bowls again (I wouldn't drink another one of those smoothies for free) - but I do want to try the toast, that sounds like a novel, potentially delicious item.

i'm a returning customer. they best bowls in northern va with unfortunately some of the WORST service. i love this place but one/two workers can be really rude and dismissive. one woman was very passive aggressive when telling me the store was closed, 40 minutes before their website has posted. the one other woman i've interacted with had a similarly negative attitude. however after noticing i tip on my to-go orders her demeanor seemed to improve. whatever. their portions are also a total shot in the dark, 75% of the time it's amazing but the 25% of the time there's barely any base in the bow. i've made my own acai bowls before and it's just too much work, i'll still return to this store.

Overall, a good experience. I had the Brovacado and a Bubbly soda. I do wish they had forks and knives, but they don’t. The staff was friendly and the service was quick, which makes this a positive experience. I would recommend this spot to anyone and I would come back again the next time I am in the mall. This place has had the worst service for years. Even the manager who owns it is absolutely awful. Today i went for the last time- I placed a pick up order and when i walked in there was no line. the girl behind the counter didn't look at me or even acknowledge me. I waited as she made 4 bowls and 3 toasts before she finally came to the register and said "do you want anything?" . Seriously just ridiculous that I couldn't be acknowledge for 7 minutes.

Person answering the phone was extremely rude and not helpful at all. My order through ubereats was taking forever not sure if it was the restaurant or Ubers fault but I called for guidance and she told me I had to figure it out but ended up being that she didn’t hit order ready on her side.Never got my order so I can’t tell you if it was good or portion was small.

Service is so slow, always. Music is NOT family friendly and it's loud, be prepared to scream your order. Food is decent, but overpriced for the amount you get. Better off going to District Eats in Clifton for a bowl.
