We stand with President Gregory Washington!!!!! This school is great for public policy, police academy, cybersecurity, computer science, and other computational sciences. Diversity is a strength. There is also a campus located in South Korea, which can be cheaper for in-state students to attend for a semester there vs domestically. With the current climate I’m even more proud to have gone here. 💚

My daughter just registered for all in person classes yet 2 of her professors are already informing students most of class will be online. We did not pay for online classes. As a matter of fact, many of the classes necessary for her degree are online. If we wanted online classes we would just enroll in an online school for cheaper. This school is a disgrace. Get rid of these lazy professors and stop scamming students and their family’s out of money.

An institution marked by deep social stratification and elitism, which is exactly what their neoliberal ideas promote. Regardless of effort or number of applications, individuals from the Global South often excluded.
It reflects longstanding issues related to colour privilege and inequality.

It’s deeply troubling that serious claims of SA involving a faculty member at this university have come to light. This individual has also exhibited a long standing pattern of unprofessional and inappropriate behavior in the classroom such as mocking individuals with disabilities, making crude and offensive remarks, and frequently canceling classes without notice. Such conduct reflects a disturbing lack of accountability and raises serious concerns about the standards upheld by the institution. For anyone considering enrollment, I strongly urge you to think carefully about your safety, well being, and the quality of education you can expect here.

Back to school is a wonderful time for parents and their young adults. Even the face masks cannot hide the full range of emotions from anxiety, excitement, and pride in starting a new chapter of life. Although fewer people are loading up to the dorms, the activity is still deliberate and intense. GMU is transformed from a metropolitan university to a small-town college campus. Be patient and call ahead to arrange appointments for most things; everything is virtual interactions. Library sign states 450 max capacity. How is that going to look like? 🤔
