The Food Is So Good I’m Still Amazed By The Sweet Kale With The Chana & Quinoa
I'm not vegan, and it's my lunch of choice at GMU. Try the sauces-- all I've tried have unique flavors and genuine heat.
It is really good! I previously tried another location that was terrible. But the GMU campus has really good food. I have been 100% satisfied the few times I have been. It is a bit hard to find, but it is on the LOWER floor of the building... across from the Starbucks. My only complaint is that I believe it is a tiny bit expensive, I wish they had a rewards program. I hope that they continue to stay at GMU for years to come.

Nu Vegan Cafe, located in Fairfax near GMU, is a hidden gem offering a variety of affordable, vegan, and planet-friendly options. The courteous staff serves excellent dishes such as Mac and Cheese, Chick'n Drummies, and bowls. Their desserts and ice creams, like the Lotus Biscoff ice cream, are also popular. Although it is a bit hard to find within the college campus food hall, the outstanding service and inviting atmosphere make it worth the effort. The cafe is on the lower floor of the building, across from Starbucks, and is worth searching for. Customers have enjoyed the vegan crab cake, which tastes surprisingly like real crab cake, with the right texture and flavor. The menu at this location is smaller compared to other Nu Vegan spots, but the food is consistently satisfying. The server mentioned that the original company owns this location, which may help maintain quality. Whether you're a vegan student, a health-conscious local, or just looking for a delicious meal, Nu Vegan Cafe offers delectable food and exceptional service in a vegan-friendly setting.
