The two star is just for food (food alone is 1 star imo). Service is awesome and atmosphere is good.
We ordered the papaya salad, crab meat fried rice, and hot pot (with pork ribs).
First thing I want to point out is that the ingredients are either not fresh or not right. The crab meat in the fried rice really tastes like artificial meat, has no flavor, and has a weird chewy feeling. The pork ribs in the hot pot is so hard to chew, which indicates that the meat is not good/fresh and not correctly prepared pre-cooking.
Another issue is about seasoning, which is weird, super salty, and not authentic at all (opinion from an Asian not grew up in the US). The hot pot soup (tom yum) is probably the saltiest soup I’ve ever tried. The fried rice only has a taste of soy sauce and nothing else. Papaya salad is plainly no flavor.
With the pricing, I think the food quality is not acceptable. Again, this is not about service or atmosphere and we had a good experience outside the food.

My wife and I were here on business for a couple of weeks and saw this place when we Googled Thai food this place popped up. Well worth the 4.7 stars and more. We had Shrimp Khao Pad and Pad Thai. Both dishes were delicious and more than enough in portion. Service was fast and friendly. Would definitely eat here again and recommended dining for anyone looking for a Thai fix. Price was great as well….$37 for both meals and a hot Ginger tea. Thank you Happy Thai for an enjoyable meal!

Pictured are the lunch specials. Always go here for convenient and good quality Thai food. Their noodle stir fries, currys, soups, and meat stir fries are all good. Sometimes when dining in during the summer, there are a lot of gnats. That is my only major complaint.

I decided I would give this 4.7 rated restaurant a try after Googling Thai restaurants near me. I looked at the online menu and decided what I wanted. Google and their website state on Sundays they close at 9:30 pm. I called.to place a takeout order at 8:45 pm. I was immediately asked when I would be there. I said I was unsure, but would definitely be there before 9:30. I was told the kitchen was closing and asked if I could make it by 9. I said I didn't think so. He asked what time I could be there. I told him I would.check Waze and call him back. I called back to let him know I could be there by 9:20. There was silence. He then said I needed to pay now. I understand that as a business they may have been screwed over when dealing with takeout orders before, however the entire conversation and the closing early just didn't sit well with me. Unfortunate. I had been looking forward to that meal all day!
Excellent food and great, friendly service. I love Thai food and Happy Thai did NOT dissappoint in the least. Highly recommended.

Very excellent customer service. When they tell you 15 minutes is 15 minutes wait time.l order online and is always ready when l get there
Went there with a couple buddies a few nights back. We wanted Thai so we just searched Google and this place had 4.7 stars and over 200 reviews. So, it could have been an “off” night or I’m a harder grader than most.
Ordered a couple of appetizers including potstickers. They came out looking like they had been cooked in the oven. Hard and almost burned on the outside. Weird prep. Not good flavor. Drunken Noodles were average. Pad Thai I didn’t try but my friend said it was average and then my dish, Basil Fried Rice I added chicken to but there was nearly no chicken in it. Flavor and preparation of the rice was below average. Again, maybe an off night for the kitchen but I wasn’t impressed overall. Priced reasonably.

We have been ordering takeout from this Thai restaurant. Pad thai and green curry are our go to order. I hope that the container for the curry can be more secure, when I opened it, it spilled everywhere after the ride. The lady used the plastic wrap to secure it, but it didn't work. A different container would be better for curry.
