A delightful experience. Diksha our server gave us outstanding service. Excellent succulent Lamb Kababs Authentic Malai Mutter Paneer outstanding Lal Mass tasted like in Jaisalmere. Ice cream full of flavor Tried both Mango and Pistachio.
I'm a big fan of Indian cuisine and I'm always on the hunt for the best int he DMV area, whether vegetarian specialty or full-fledged indian joints. Even though this restaurant is the closest to my place, I wouldn't rank it high on my list. It's an ok restaurant with a bit less than average quality and taste. I tried a couple of dishes but I was not blown away. I tried their weekend buffet years ago when I was a broke student, but I dont remember the quality.
We went on Sunday at opening for the buffet! Food was excellent, owners and staff were very attentive, an the restaurant is very clean and well decorated! We loved the lamb curry, paneer tikka masala, palak (spinach) dish, butter chicken, and grilled chicken. Naan is served fresh to each table and - perfectly soft and pillowy. Everything was well seasoned, not too salty, a little kick to some dishes but not too spicy, and their “Indian icecream” dessert was amazing - almost...
