Decided to give it a try based off a lot of online hype, and was not disappointed. The gimbap was competitively priced, but fairly portioned. They have some flavor selections I had not tried before like spicy anchovy and nuts, which was delicious. Though the chicken didn’t appear to be traditional Korean fried, it was still crispy, fresh, and packed with flavor. Ramen was definitely overcooked and slimy. Did not taste like the crab wasabi mayo that was requested either. The only redemption was the premade Gimbap, which was crisp and refreshing.
I was really excited to try this place but was disappointed. I received the wrong gimbap but decided to give it a try anyway - the rice was very stale and did not taste fresh at all. As a Korean who has eaten many gimbap in my life, you’d be better off going to myunga or making it at home! 3 stars for the chicken which was pretty decent.
